From the starting line in Los Angeles, The Nature’s Answer Foundation’s #Road2Wellness Tour includes stops on its coast-to-coast tour to highlight key partners along the way, including the following.
- American Cancer Society Hope Lodge
Facing cancer is hard. Having to face it away from home is harder. That’s where the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge comes in, with 31 Hope Lodges across the US offering cancer patients and their families a free place to stay when their best hope for treatment may be in another city. Nature’s Answer Foundation is proud to support Hope Lodge, and the #Road2Wellness Tour includes a stop on October 2 at Hope Lodge in Phoenix, AZ.
- Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory
Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, founded in 1890, is one of the world’s preeminent institutes specializing in cancer, molecular biology and genetics research. Home to eight Nobel Prize winners, the not-for-profit research center employs more than 600 researchers and technicians with expertise in cancer, neuroscience, quantitative biology, plant biology, bioinformatics and genomics. The Nature’s Answer Foundation and #Road2Wellness Tour are proud to raise funds for the lab’s important work.
- Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
Bringing it all home to the Nature’s Answer Foundation’s roots in Long Island, New York, over 4,000 miles coast to coast, the #Road2Wellness Tour will time the finish of its coast-to-coast tour to join thousands of walkers plus 250 employees, family and friends at the starting line of the Making Strides walkathon in Jones Beach, NY, on Sunday, October 15.
In the United States, about one in eight women will develop breast cancer during their lifetime. The Road2Wellness Tour coincides with the American Cancer Society’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, with educational stops in major cities throughout the U.S. to raise awareness and funding for effective treatments and cures for breast cancer and other forms of cancer. Nature’s Answer will donate 10% of all product sales during October through the Nature’s Answer Foundation to support cancer research. In addition, select items will be available on its website, with net proceeds from the sale of these items to be donated, too.
The journey begins on October 1, 2017, in Los Angeles, California, with stops in Phoenix, Arizona, Denver, Colorado, Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee, Hershey, Pennsylvania, and elsewhere. The tour will finish on October 15, 2017, in Long Island, New York, at the starting line of the American Cancer Society’s annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walkathon in Jones Beach, New York. Along the way, Frank and the team will stop at key retailers and other partners to raise awareness and donations on a local level in communities across the U.S.
